Welcome to Herbs and Pots Pottery

    My hands touched spinning clay on the potter's wheel just a few years ago. I could not let it stop. The wheel kept on turning and that lead to many, many pots later...

  I have owned and operated Herbs and Pots Pottery since 2006. I have been designing and creating functional tableware. I make useful, durable, everyday shapes in a variety of food-safe glazes. The shapes are simple and the glazes reflect the colors, shades and brights of nature.  

    The studio and the retail shop share one big space so most of the time you will find the potter at work. This set up allows you to see the work in all stages of progress: wheel throwing, trimming of the leatherhard pieces,  glazing, decorating bisqueware or loading and unloading of the kiln.

      I hope my pottery will have a chance of adding  natural and simple beauty as well as spirit and energy to your everyday life.
